GobiernoUSA.gov managers awarded the AFFIRM leadership award

Laura Godfrey and Leilani Martinez, co-managers of GobiernoUSA.gov, have both been awarded the 2009 AFFIRM Leadership Award for Service to the Citizen. The award was presented to Laura and Leilani for excellence in management information technology for improved services to the citizens through their work on GobiernoUSA.gov, the web portal for official U.S. government information in Spanish.

AFFIRM is a non-profit, volunteer, educational organization whose goal is to improve the management of information within the federal Government.
